Anjali Mondal is a 50 years old housewife.  Her family consists of 4 members. Her husband Himanshu  Mondal  is a wage labour, somehow managing their survival with little  earning. It was very difficult to fulfill the minimum needs to survive.

Anjali had a backyard poultry at her home but she is unable to get the profit from it due  to massive loss of livestock from various diseases. So she has decided to stop her backyard  poultry.

In the mean time, she attended a Training programme on Livestock development organized by Palli Unnayan Samiti Baruipur.  Once again, she is enthused   to continue it because Mrs Rina Debnath the project Social Educator has motivated her and finally Anjali again start her backyard poultry.

She also  motivated to promote Kitchen / Nutrition garden by using composed manure through  which she starts  earning some money by selling the surplus vegetables.

Now she has learned about the series of vaccination for the chicken accordingly with the help of Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) program. She is  link  with Livestock Department and access Government benefit. Now she is earning from her backyard  and Nutrition Garden. She and her family is thankful to KFB/DKA for this betterment to survive well.
