Neighborhood Children Parliament is not only an education process in its strict sense but also it is a children movement with deliberations, interventions and action at neighborhood level. Every child in the particular neighborhood is an equal member of the said Parliament select or elected prime minister and other minister for various concerns. Each minister has specific role play.

Children parliaments meet regularly and discuss their issues and problems such as Social issues, child right violation and keep written minutes. Each unit has its own Prime Minister and other cabinet ministers in charge of various aspects such as poverty alleviation, food security, health & hygiene promotion, education, gender equality, drinking water and sanitation, solar energy promotion as clean energy, employment & livelihood, industry& infrastructure, climate change adaptation, environmental pollution, peace & justice, disability care, child rights, other abuses, child trafficking, broken family, Juvenile Delinquency.

Children in these neighborhoods gather together, learn together, analyze the above issues, plan their responses, implement them and monitor the process etc. The Children Parliaments are federated at the levels of Village, Panchayet, Block, District and State and to the Global. Children Parliament being small face-to-face communities ensures maximum attention to all the members and units of a multi-tier federation gives the children a wider say and powerful protective network.
