5 Free Learning Centers are located at Unchipara, Keoratala, Purbo Jata, Hotar and Charavidya villages under Mathurapur II, Magrahat II and Basanti Blocks in the District of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

175 Disadvantage minors belongs to Marginal farmers and Migrant Labor families.

Free Learning Centers is the supplementary education to shape better future to 175 selected children belongs to Marginal Farmers and Migrant labor families. The project is providing Morning and Evening free tuition along with Text Books, Exercise Books, Pen, Pencil, Pencil Cutters, Eraser, Drawing Books, Color Pencil, School Uniforms, School Bags, Water Bottle and Nutritional Diet & MedicalCheckup for the selected children from Nursery to class VI followed by Joyful learning methodology (Games, Drawings, Rhymes, Action song and other co-curricular activities.

The teachers prepare subject wise strength and weakness of each student and follow up their educational progress accordingly. The educational tour is the big opportunity once in year to have wonderful experience together to be exposed to city as the children residing at rural and remote villages. Monthly parents meeting and home visit conducted to further follow up the progress of individual children. The Complain Box and Notice Board use to Display as part of social audit of the project activities.

Major Achievements:

1. Many positive changes have been noticing among the Children compare to present status and the status before starting “Free Learning Center” as bellow:
2. Altogether 5 Center wise Educational Committee has been formed and strengthen as community involvement for day to day’s activities.
3. At present altogether 175 disadvantaged children receiving the educational benefits along with educational materials, health and nutritional support towards shaping their better future.
4. Linkage Meeting build up rapport among Project staffs, Parents, PRI and Local Teachers which helped them to interact each other better for the qualitative education of the children.
5. Parents Meetings helps to identify subject wise strength and weakness of all individual children and follow up accordingly to improve the weak children.
6. Out of 175 children, 95 of them have ranked from 1st to 10th Position in their Class during last academic year
7. All of them Improved in Reading, Writing and Calculation Skills.
8. The children club promote good habit of Drawing, Singing, Recitation, Sports and cultural practice among the targeted children towards develop their potentiality to be complete man. Prepare Co-Curriculum Activities for Children Club and follow up the activities accordingly.
9. Develop Civic sense among the Targeted children as they taught up and practice Courtesy at centre. The targeted children are in shaping and molding process towards obedience, good respect to their parents, relatives and elders.
10. Good habit of personal hygiene builds up among the children is maintained with regular monitoring and follow up by the teaches. Soft skill practice in the class towards human potentially as personality development to be a complete man.
